Get it Done!

To move projects forward, to Do Something Now, and build a brand as a strategic, get-it-done person, you will need to master task-writing.  A task should be action-packed and time-bound. And a task should always include four components:

  • Step: Action or actions needed (list a single step or multiple steps needed)?
  • Details: Who, What, Why and How?
  • Deadlines: List all completion and due dates
  • Context: How long will each step take? Is it a high, medium, low priority? What is the best time of day to take it on?
